I received these photos the other day from my dear friend in Texas. For us, there were a lot of sad things about leaving Texas. At the top of that list was having to say goodbye to our good friends, the Harts. There are just some people in life that you meet and automatically click with, and a good friendship comes very easily. I personally haven't had this experience that many times before. The Harts gave so much time and attention to our little family -- and we knew we could trust them with anything. We absolutely adore these sweet little girls and all of the great memories we have of spending time with them: Apples-to-Apples, pillow fighting with Jrosh, sharing Marcie's yummy peanut butter treats, astronomy in the back yard, Barney videos (over&over&over!), a trip to the Apple Orchards, piano recitals, family dinners, and so much more. AND I'm $5 richer for looking up Matt's PhD dissertation at the ASU library! Henry still frequently asks about going to the airport to fly back to Texas and play with Ellie, Maggie, and Annie, and we can't wait to meet their newest little sibling.
We feel very lucky to have friends like these.
