Henry and I made a quick pit-stop in Phoenix (where else!) on our way home so that Dad could experience a few overnight shifts with the big dog residents at the hospital before finishing his internship for the summer. Today we went swimming with the Sawkiw family. It was Hal's first time in the drink and he hated it. In all fairness it was 117 degrees outside and the pool, although sizable, was lukewarm. Despite his best efforts, Uncle Bill was not able to brighten Henry's spirits (which is unusual). Maybe it was because he dunked the little guy. Aside from the going under the water, Henry watched his girly cousins do flips and splashes while staying safely nestled under my chin. Today he was a total mamma's boy. Here are some pics of him with Uncle Bill before the big dip. Poor guy.
(Thanks for the great swim outfit, Meghan! The pics don't do justice to how cute it was.)
*ps. We actually have a few more pictures from Boston, but I forgot to pack the usb drive thing. Once our family is reunited in the land of the Lubbites we will post some more pictures of our time in Beantown. (Tag you're it, Dad.)
