2 pm ritual

Each day at just about two o'clock in the afternoon, I wrap Henry up in his blanket before his afternoon nap, and each day, I look down and see this and suddenly (however momentarily) I forget why exactly it is that I have to put him down for his nap. Or ever, for that matter.

Henry's Blessing

Today Henry had his baby blessing in church (somewhat akin to a christening). We were glad to welcome some of the Thatcher family from Dallas and Oma and Opa Hahl from Arizona. Here are some pictures from the big event.

From left to right: Opa, Oma, Ainsley, Josh, baby Henry, William, Aunt Wendy, Uncle Logan, Grandma Thatcher, Molly, Uncle Jon, Grandpa Thatcher, and Uncle Cameron.

Thanks to everyone for coming!

snow day

After almost a week of 70-degree temperatures and sunshine, it snowed this week and vastly everything in town was closed, cancelled, or delayed, except the medical school.

On the plus side, Henry finally got to
wear his bear jacket and pants. He
was pretty happy about it.
